During March 2006 a friend of mine invited me to come and photograph Great-crested Grebes. The first time I joined him, I was so exited that I jumped in the ditch without any waders on. Next to hypothermia I got away with some great shots that afternoon and after that I have never looked back.
For me nature photography has become a way to express the awesome experiences I have had; getting close to these animals and spending time in the beautiful landscapes this world has to offer. Being surrounded by 14.000 Cranes, spending a day with an Arctic Fox family or seeing a White-tailed Eagle catching a fish right next to your boat just to name a few.
I hope that through this website I will be able to bring across the moments I have experienced and maybe in the end make people more aware of the beauty this planet has to offer.
